Like many little girls l started out as a little girl who felt she should have been born a princess. Only my princess wasn't a princess who lived in a castle. She was the Aztec Goddess, Xochiquetzal.

In Aztec Mythology, she reigned in a Paradise deserving of her beauty. She was a young beautiful maiden who wore flowers in her hair and had a soothing, songlike voice. She reigned in an age of lost innocence.

Her depiction, explains my obssession with the 60's era, flowers, beauty and the longing to return to the age of innocence.
